CRSA Architecture (formerly Craig R. Smith, AIA, Architect & Associates) is a full service architectural design company located in San Luis Obispo, California. The firm was established over twenty-five years ago and provides architectural design services to meet virtually any design need.


Our services have included unique design solutions for the construction of single-family residential projects, commercial projects in the private sector, interior design and landscape design. We are well versed in land use development management and entitlement services, construction document development, construction management services, and disability access assessment and offer assistance in the selection of builders.


Under the new company name, CRSA Architecture has expanded its project base services to include the development and expansion of new and existing wineries, mixed use urban infill—smart growth projects, reuse and sustainable project development, energy efficient—alternative energy design development, and commercial interior—fixturization type projects.


Through the use of computer imagery we produce high quality construction documents that include three-dimensional renderings of our projects. This imagery assists our clients to integrate and visualize their desires in our design process. The final result is a union of the preconceptions imagined by our clients and our ideas collected from creative analysis of the conceptual capabilities.


We are a full service company that takes projects from conceptualization through construction. We are cost conscious and employ innovative methods to meet any projects financial, programmatic, regulatory, and environmental components.
