Valancing Act is a full service window treatment and custom bedding company located in the heart of San Luis Obispo, Ca. The husband and wife team of Bryan and Joni Jackson offer over 25 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and installing custom window treatments. From simple designs to the most complex, you can be sure that your custom bedding and window treatments will exceed your expectations. Our goal is to take the stress out of decision making and to assist you in choosing draperies, shades and accessories that are both beautiful and functional. To supplement our services, we also supply and install blinds and shading systems from major manufacturers in order to compliment your space.

Visit our work and showroom and choose from an extensive, up to date, selection of fabrics. When your fabric is selected, we will custom make your window treatments, bedding and accessories to your specification right here in our San Luis Obispo workroom. Having the ability for your selections to be sewn and assembled locally, allows for the customization and flexibility that you deserve when choosing new design elements for your home. No detail goes unnoticed to ensure a spectacular result and total satisfaction.

Valancing Act offers a wide variety of custom window shades to suit any décor. We offer professional design services to help you select exactly the right shade for your home. A large selection of samples for cellular shades, woven woods, wood blinds, shutters and silhouettes can be found in our showroom. Any of these, as well as draperies are available with manual controls or motorization as per your requirement.
Each perfectly installed treatment reflects the dedication of a locally owned family business built by a highly trained seamstress and a master installer.
